DESCRIPTION;LANGUAGE=en:Three years after the masterpiece Wie die Nocht noc
h jung wor\, he returns as a reluctant pop star. Last year\, he won the Au
strian Film Award for Best Actor for his leading role in Adrian Goiginger’
s box-office hit Rickerl. His previous albums earned him a string of Amade
us Awards – Austria’s answer to the Grammys – and his tours across the Ger
man-speaking world regularly sell out.\n\n\n\nNow it was time to take stoc
k once again. The Beisl biotope is yesterday’s news\, especially since cou
ntless Voodoo imitators have been happily trading on it for years. Now it’
s about the wide world waiting out there – and the small world within: the
one inside your own soul.\n\n\n\nBoth lyrically and musically\, Gschnas f
ür Voodoo is about personal autonomy\, the rebirth of inspiration\, and br
eaking free from the typically Austrian narrow-mindedness that keeps you d
own.\n\n\n\nIn short\, it’s about everything. The energy with which he and
his fiercely on-fire band pull off this audacious musical feat\, the shee
r joy of playing and the self-confidence with which an artist dares to rei
nvent himself without abandoning anything he has already created – all whi
le breathing new life into himself – are truly remarkable.\n\n\n\nAn exorc
ism with the heart wide open\, so to speak – and we’re there to witness it
  live!
